Tata Asset Management Ltd, which manages TataMutual Fund, has announced the appointment of Rahul Singh as its Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Equities. In the new role which he starts from October 15, 2018, Singh would lead the fund management and equity research teams.
Singh brings with him over 23 years of investment experience. An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Singh joins Tata Asset Management from Ampersand Capital Investment Advisors LLP where he was the managing partner. Ampersand Capital Investment Advisors LLP is a SEBI registered Investment Advisor. Ampersand is also the investment manager for Ampersand Growth Opportunities Fund, a Category-III Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) approved by SEBI.
Prior to Ampersand Capital, Singh worked with Standard Chartered Securities and Citigroup Global Markets India.

In May, Gopal Agrawal had put in his papers at Tata Asset Management after a 13-month stint. In July, DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd announced the appointment of Gopal Agrawal as Senior Fund Manager and Head of Macro Strategy.
